Think about it, the only time anyone would want to tow is when they are out of options. Adding insult to injury is not the way to go; make towing easily accessible and free.

This is especially true for fleet commanders.
If you have to wait for each of your slaves to get towed you're not gonna be very happy. If someone were to use 11 swarm ships to boot they would probably ragequit. _________________ Space for rent! |

If towing was made free... there should be a towing time involved. However, it's shouldn't be too long.

I really like the timed debuff idea, should be an option to a paid tow. Hopefully there will be some cost adjustments to tow based on level or some other useful metric other than ship size.

I don't see why towing doesn't cost proportionally to your level and *maybe* the DF you're in.

Wasn't there some talk of making tow stations buildable? Or maybe just giving HQs towing ability? When do you ever use a tow station anyway? Outside of when I was extremely new (and it was extremely cheap) and getting trapped deep in enemy territory during PvB, I don't think I've ever used a tow station. You can always get a kick from any content that is remotely challenging, and then you can just fly home in your ship rather than go forever in a pod.
