Some suns are waaaasaaaaay too big. the only reason its really an issue is because AI can ignore them and we can't. also warps are sometimes placed halfway up the side of a sun and that can be annoying...

Seriously, if you want big suns, displace them on the Z axis so they don't have such a large cross section on the xy plane we inhabit.

I kind of thought that was a feature of Star Sonata 2. It makes battles around suns more interesting.

I don't mind the size, but i do mind the targeting size. On massive suns, the targeting ring extends well beyond the border of the actual "sphere" that is the sun. It extends to the edge of the effects of the sun as well, so clicking anywhere near the sun will target the sun. Also, you can't RTS select slaves if they are inside the targeting area of massive suns, quite annoying.

I noticed this as well, especially in paxius where i can only see to select the sun. Would be good to have a priority to ships/drones/fighters/missles/bases and astral objects be considered the background.

Completely agreed. Priority targeting is a must.
