Right now its very hard to read the galaxy map. many galaxies look like they are connected to each other when they are not.

Perhaps let us tilt it up and down for a better view or give the option of a 2D one like in C1?

It also really lags my computer if i move around the map or shift its window around

The map tilts with your view. If you don't know how to do that then it's Pg Up and Pg Down keys.

just make the map flat allready, cant see shit on that thing, its bogus to just tilt and undo it every time you want to see something

Aye, SS simply doesn't work with the tilt. I would only use tilt to take screenies.

I've played with tilt pretty much the whole time...

I wonder if you can stop the tilt in the XML.

No. :(

But the devs working on the code-aspects of it know that the map is iffy and needs work, I wouldn't be surprised if they just 2D the thing again!

sure hope so, cause the weay it is now........... useless map
cant see the galaxy names, what connects where and to what, no idea how many jumps, and dangerfactor ( guessing thats still to change though )
