Post Termites and Bases
A lot of us newbies on SS2 have been cussing at ourselves over the massive amounts of termites recently. One way to deal with this problem that I see, instead of limiting the amount of termites, instead limit their strength based on the levels of those who have built in that particular galaxy. Certain level ranges, and possibly base techs too, would determine the max amount of arms the mound could grow and thereby limit its strength. The mounds could also then be closer so that the bases can actually fight back against them and all weak, unattended bases would still be taken care of, while strong ones actively maintained would be alright, while still providing a challenge! I guess activity must also be factored in to the mound strength, but would this be something that could possibly be implemented?

Termites, afaik, are currently bugged in the beta. Wherever they drop mounds, they come as Bio mites.

Bio mites are...like 10x worse than a normal mite mound.
-Builds fast
-Spawns powerful(for a termite) AI's
-Never goes away

It'd be remedied in the full release.

You have not seen bio termites.. they are way more powerful. There are multiple reasons why players drop achilles, anni and ada kits there. and one is the termites. they swarm in a hellish frenzy of rapidfire pulse death.
