Your AP finds the nearest neutral AI base and docks there. Exceptions for bases covered by interference, or cloaked.

+1

So you wouldn't die like shit to aggro AIs in shopping gals, or other not nice things.

Steppes, laby, serpica, underworld. Things like that go under exceptions. I'm pretty sure laby bases cant be seen from the wormhole, so that counts as cloaked, imo.

I would have said this, but Free Market. Hyperion. Blue Photon. Sol. Gargan. Blue Outpost. Paxius. Nexus. Copper. Deflector, lol. End of the Universe. Shadow. The Acropolis. Lyceum. Lunacy, if you wish. All of these you should be able to dock in.

/signed

perhaps the command /dockap "galaxy name"

But yeah exclude things like - Oly Entrance, Underworld, Nihilite, Labyrinth, (Ruby) Steppes etc.

Could take that out, but for now, lets leave it with no special gals. Reasoning is that the three gals above use distance...and that would be bad if they were the closest gals.

However, it can be easily solved.
Labyrinth-Each gate is for a different gal, no keys required.
Steppes/Ruby-Different gal, requires key dropped from drone(1) or all AI's killed(~5 keys).

The general idea is that you can 'autodock' at any base that you could get to with normal autopilot. So if you can't target it (too far away, cloaked) or if interference would stop normal AP it would not automatically AP and dock.

Why?

I have never heard anyone have the need for this.

You're bored .. you want to head to your favourite all time DG !!

But you are also hungry, your DG is in perilous, you want to AP and be safe, without a forgone pushing you 20k off the warp while you afk make a sammich.

There's 1 use ^

Just sit there and mind your character, god forbid you actually have to play the game.

DoW, no. This is for docking at the NEAREST acceptable AI base. This is because, as a player with almost no time to play, sometimes I need to dock, but can't stick around to babysit my slow arse pax. It seems like everyone misunderstood my OP on the subject. This is not about APing to a gal and docking there.

well perhaps we misunderstood because c2 already has the feature of docking at the base that you autopilot to.
