Not sure I understand the concept.

What I see is the new Squad leader fires on a player outside of the squad and everyone in the squad is now at war with that player and their team.

Ok, AcidFlame, myself, and Thermal are in a squad. An AI pops up and shoots me. Acid's drones and Thermal's slaves don't shoot the AI.

That is a BUG and needs to be fixed.

Bonecrusher is right.

Aggro should be squad-wide, as collision code is squad-wide.

Either way, it would be nice to be able to mark AI as a squad Enemy that way drones can start firing and slaves can be ready to attack when the Ai comes into range.
