So instead of a mmorpg game like we have now, this mini game would be single player. It should be a dungeon crawler, fighting your way from Nexus to Anatolia to topple the Emperor. You wouldn't have bases or colonies. Essentially, I am challenging a dev to make a game-within-the-game. We would get items/ships/skills in SS for doing certain things in the minigame. Give us a highscore list so we can brag to our friends that we got a 100% completion, 2 hour speed run or somesuch.

Could be part of a "training simulator" added alongside the Earthforce missions? Sounds like it'd be pretty hard to implement and we wouldn't see it for a while?

Maybe a PvP minigame would be interesting, but DGing is already essentially single player.
