Allow any FC in a squad to set squad objectives/targets. This effectively paints a bulls-eye on a target. All slaves in the squad will proceed to attack the target (or assemble wherever the objective was set) as well as all players being given a visual notification (a flashing target or something) of the order.

These objectives/targets can be either queued or removed by the FC and will... make them more like commanders.

Fine, allow players to make their slaves ignore these objectives. The basic idea is still the same regardless of what you tack on.

That is a great idea. After all, he would be "commanding" the fleet. Maybe combining that with some sort of debuff on the targeted ship could make it even more cool.

Perhaps there should be an option in the squad menu to set somebody as the commander of the squad, and only fleet commanders could take this role. THids way we avoid the problem of there being multiple FC's in one squad setting contradictory targets.

Also, as per slaves, I would say that this should be an 'elseif' target, as you put it in another thread. Slaves would first target what their owner told them too (including 'attack my target'), but if they were simply on 'fight enemies' they would default to attacking the squad objective.

Squad leader only -- regardless of character is a Fleet Commander or not.
