5. Offline Message

/wo is an offline message command. Your PM will still be sent, and will appear as a green chat box to the recipient when they log on

i like the concept. And if we do add this, i think combining it with the forum pm system would be ideal (as in you get the message ingame but also in forum pm box, and normal forum pm also show in game when you log).

With obviously a limit on the new messages and support for /ignore etc. (something like max 10 unread message per sender account, and maybe max 50 unread offline whisper or something like that)

This is a good idea, I know several times I have tried contacting people to inquire about buying items etc only to find that they are offline (or on an alt etc).

If you're going to rehaul the chat anyway, could you make us able to link items in chat as well? :D

thats a completely different thing. The change in this suggestion are 100% server side and require no overhaul whatsoever (its a new feature if anything).

None of the changes needed for this one would make it any simpler or easier to add something like item linking to the chat (not that its a bad idea, its just cant be mixed in the same suggestion due to how separate the 2 implementations are)
