 Official Discord Server ?I saw it in many new games that the devs make a official Discord Server so new Players can meet, chat and talk together or get helped by older player in a chat room or voice chat.

Re: Official Discord Server ? Whats a discord server? Is that a voice chat channel? We have a IRC channel, but a voice chat official SS channel would be pretty cool. I know i would for sure log onto it.

Re: Official Discord Server ? Discord is a newish programm, which has the features of skype and teamspeak in one.
we organized our 450 man alliance in albion online with it and i saw in Faeria and other games that many Devs use it to get hold of their playerbase. its free too... |

The dev team shouldn't do something because there is enough interest. You need to make it interesting for the player base to show interest. If you, as dev team, find it interesting & you have plans on how to bring it over to the player base, that seems interesting, then you should implement it. It's an advertisement company, they don't wait until people show interest that they'll make an advert for something, they'll make an advert and make it so people find it interesting. Lately there have been a lot of initiatives of the dev team (Ryan and Pixel), and there has been plenty of good & constructive response on the forums about the changes. Now you need to try to get the changes and your ideas over to 90% of the player base that doesn't read the forums. |

Tell us "We're going to do this because it's cool, here's what we have. What do you think?" I'm pretty sure the team is solid enough and intelligent enough to make good additions and decisions...
