Because as it stands, nearly any aura that is not for FC practically has no benefit to switching, say, an ShM from their main setup (Rhino, HM, T22) to a capital ship ShM to provide an aura that barely provides that much of a difference for a squad. If anything, its less.
Maybe in squads that feature a lot of ShMs in their main setup and one in a capital ship, using the same example. But even in such groups, there is rarely a need to deviate to a capital ship of a class that's not FC.
Would very much like to put that Red Photon Support Cruiser to some use.
