Post Warning solutions for leaving Fighters behind
I am pretty sure the case of accidentally leaving Fighters behind while jumping
is a familiar trouble to many of us - thus destroying them
- especially if it was a locked boss space.

I do appreciate the "Fighter Recall" devices, but I'm talking about saying Good Bye
to our precious Fighters unknowingly - as a mistake.
One might rightfully blame the the player for this accident.
It is indeed a personal fault, yet it's still really harsh sometimes
- you can easily lose some really rare, exquisite fighters this way, which are a huge pain to replace
- for a mistake of carelessness.

I have devised a few small "solutions" for this matter
In a decreasing order of subtlety I guess:

- On screen notification on the first attempt of trying to jump with Fighters out

A regular Pop-up Message
I guess this would optimally mean the prevention of the first jump attempt, which would come in handy
- for a warning after the successful jump would be no help but a bitter note
in case you left the fighters in a now locked boss space.

- Question dialog Pop-up

To "confirm" leaving the Fighter behind before jumping.
Similar to the "Do you wish to enter stasis?" dialog, but no "Type" part.
Honestly this is not a very bright idea. A mere warning would be obviously enough,
and it is a clunky method. Still worth a note I guess.

- Checkbox in in Options menu

First, the option to enable/disable the first jump block warning feature - or any is more than useful. Probably ideal
An upgrade of that, a little hardcore solution would be a tick option for complete jump prevention
as long as any fighters are out - which would be disabled by default I guess.

(btw to my knowledge slaves/bots wait for their fighters before jumping)

- Fighter being able to jump like slaves/bots

Well... that's most likely a far-fetched idea. Any of the above ones is probably way less troublesome to implement.

~ Stasis

While fighters having stasis sounds like something some would really desire,
the risk of losing them in combat for good is a basic idea of this bargain, so nah

A warning "could" also be useful for mobile drones too... but it's extra effort
- yet not anywhere near as useful as protecting Fighters only.

Btw I believe the text of the "Suicide" Pop-up dialog is incorrect.
"Do you wish to enter statis?"
Isn't it supposed to be "stasis"? Just a note :)

I cannot say for certain if this was discussed before. I searched "fighter" keyword in the suggestions category, which lead to 53 pages of results :P (...)

Or fighter generators, which is what we're going to move to eventually.

Sounds interesting, could you expand on that?

When the time comes. That project hasn't been started yet

Dude just stop with the fighters. Come to terms with the sad reality of them like most of us have and just use MIRV missiles like a normal FC.
