Add a little hidden button of some sorts that automatically turns your ship directly north or south etc. Would be useful in terms of galaxy layout if you're trying to lay your drones or bases symmetrically. Also would be cool to see more people in a straight line.

Nah. There should be skill requirement for deploying artistic drone formations and taking badass group selfies.

As a serious note, I just don't feel there is enough use for this to justify dev time required to add this feature. It could even become unnecessary new tool for MCers.
