Bot Research should affect Wild Bot Slots?

Thoughts?

Honestly, any skill that affects Combat Bots should also affect Wild Bots, but then, I'm for making Wild Bots and Combat bots take the same slots and making them a truly different series of playing so you have to make a deliberate choice of Wilds or Combats and can't pile them together randomly.

Do wild bots keep their original damage and range or do they get the actual weapon stats?

If yes, then no. If no, then yes.

This is a design choice. If you want to make an argument you'll have to do a lot better than a one liner.

Should rename it further to Combat And Trade Bot Research so no one is unclear about which set of bot(s) it affects.

Title of skill „Bot Research“ says all. It gives you opportunity to deploy more bots (Trade and Combat).

Fleet Commander Class should get extra bonus from this skill.

Why not give ability to have more slots for Wild Bots?

10 extra wild bot slots would not significantly increase power of FC class.

Also, everyone would be pleased with bonus.

I think we are happy with the current balance of Wild Bots so we aren't keen to give any more slots back for them.

And you have to explain to people that it doesn't add Wild Slots, despite "Bot Research". Wild Bots are...Bots.

So we're in the classic situation where there is no reason given for not doing something, but also no reason given to do it...

So you know what the default answer is? Don't do it. Cause there's no good reason to do it.

It could be classic situation or you are not keen to do suggested changes but if i go with this logic...

Bot Research gives additional slots to Trade and Combat Bots.

Why not giving extra Wild Bot slots? Also if you make this change you could increase demands for training Bot Research skill.

No, by that logic your local government hammers out a new law for renewable energy, except solar energy isn't included.

Bot Research implies a skill for Bots.

You have:

Wild Bots
Combat Bots
Trade Bots

Wild Bots are not included for some reason. They are Bots. The skill says Bots. Are they not a Bot?

So you can either:

--Include them in the skill like the name says what should be going on.

or

--Rename the skill to reflect Wild Bots not being a type of Bot.

or

--Break Bot Research into two skills, one for Combat Bots, and one for Trade Bots. There can be no confusion then why there is no Wild Bot skill.
