Currently, Cap ships have 5 super item slots vs 2 for ever other ship class. This makes classes that are already very powerful stupidly OP. Conversely, classes that really need to have both their Class Supers and Supertweaks (like Engi and SHM) are forced to make choices more powerful classes are not.

My suggestion is to scale super item slots inversely to Aug slots. SO Cap ships would get 4, Heavy fighters and Support freighters would get 3, and light fighters would keep their 2. Alternatively, Cap ships could keep their 5, HF SF could have 4, and LF could have 3.

This is a very interesting idea, though I'm not sure players would actively aim for one less aug slot when looking for a new ship, just to get one more super item slot. I don't think I can make much of a decision on this however as I'm only a gunner, and have never had issues with too many super items.

Light Fighters currently have 2
Heavy Fighters currently have 2
Support Freighters currently have 2

Capital Ships currently have 5

That looks unprofessional and a little biased.
