Post Base Scanners tell you owner of base
We're having a little problem with a base that ran out of rations, but is set to Me management. It's in Earthforce Layer, so we can't simply capture and demo the base, or at the very least kill it. It has not been draining the shields off the other bases/drones, but it's been like this for a week and we can't figure out who is the owner.

I want Base Scanners to show the name of the owner so we can deal with the bastard who left his base run out of rations in the middle of a No PVP Allowed zone.

Base scanners don't work in EF space anyway, because they are viewed as a PvP action by the game, so it wouldn't help you unless that was changed first.

Check the level of the station and then go on the player leaderboard and search by level. You should be able to find the playername that way.

Don't they need to have logged on that char since the last server reset to appear in leaderboards?

How sure are you about that? Leaderboards used to take a while to settle down every server reset.

He might be sure of that because he's a dev... but you know... there could be other reasons... like common sense and observation.

I've never seen the boards reset after a server crash. They update every 5-10 minutes so they are not directly hooked to the liberty server as in they don't go down if the server goes down (unless the website goes down then i'm not 100% sure but still think it would remain stable).

Ah, thanks! Maybe I saw it happen to top players and just assumed they get data from the same source.
