Post Exploring the verse
Exploring in Starsonsta...

You spend 5 hours or less mapping the galaxy and thats it, exploring is over.

I personally would like to see random wreakages of ships randomly spawning throughout the galaxy where the player can explore the wreakage to find items, commods, treasure maps or a swam of pirates that come out of no where. Some wreakages should have missions to pick up the sos beacon and report it back to a base for rewards or other scenarios.

Prospecting is kind of like that.

Post Re: Exploring the verse
except prospecting is dumbed down to
1: Scan system until find node
2: Scan planets until find the solarbody with node
3: Extract node whilst fighting off w/e hostiles

When it comes down to it, prospecting is surprisingly boring in practice compared to his idea for Semi-Randomized galaxy events.

Edit: +1 from me, this would add some definitely much needed interaction and fun to all players, new and old alike, and the events could be scaled by DF, low DF's being reletively easy or moderate and soloable, Endgame DF's being difficult, and more small/medium sized squad based. (Edit2: With some obvious room for random soloable events, like a passive non combat event and such)

Random instances of a wreck and pirates.

I'm telling you guys...take from EVE's example. "EVE and SS are completely different!" You so very right, but they are very similar as well.

EVE has anomalies you can find which could either have ores to mine, relics to hack, or a camp to rat. Even a wormhole which could lead exponentially more stuff. It's an adventure packed with exploration and the likes.

Obviously don't rip right off of them though.

Downside is you right click a lot and things take time...

^ this guy couldn't of explained that any better. Really good input about difficulty.
