Post Idea for a new boss
This was Zerkos idea but I thought it was really cool.

We spoke on discord how cool it would be to have a boss that started of as 7 or 8 ai that you had to kill but if 2 got too close together they would merg and form a stonger ai and so on. If all pieces merges then its good night.

The trick would be to have an active engineer keep the ai apart. This boss wont care for hostility after its dented and agro will be random, undamaged ai will remain on the zerk. The ai start of with low damage but high resist and shield bank. When pieces merge damage only doubles each time.

This will take skill and quick reaction. You would need an active squad. This boss would be hard to MC. This boss can be easy or it can be unkillable. That is all down to you.

Thoughts?

Impossible conceptually to side-hack it'd seem, but a similar boss mechanic could work for making sure an engineer or two have to be be active.

I like this idea a lot and think I know of a way to implement it with the current coding, though not to the extent that you gave an example of. I'm sure it'd be possible to get that capability though.

Sounds good, i love doing content that requires skill and working out how to kill it. Sorry for not posting on Stiffy, just cba to log in lol
