Training tractoring costs more than your all other skills. It's super annoying. Why?

while we're at it, there needs to be waaaay more options for tractors than there is currently.

More AI should incorporate tractors too but that's besides the point.

The skill itself, compared to everything else, is bullshit to obtain past around what, 14?
At least keep the difficulty to obtain a skill relevant to its tech if you're gonna scale it all the way up alongside the main skills that are much more lenient.

It is good to see people catching up to me, it tells me I am on the right track. I have been bouncing ideas for lowering the item requierments on tractoring for months off varios people, all support is appreciated!

As seen in the latest developer blog, the training cost of Tractoring in Capella has been reduced from 50 Umbra to 30 Umbra.

It was not mentioned in dev post but Pixel said Holy Ward drop chance has been changed from 0.0002 to 0.00025.

I'm thinking of also implementing an alternative way to get Tractoring 15. Perhaps by some of the unused tractors that are for sale in Bipolar. Is this something you guys would want implemented or do you think it's fine that the Holy Ward is the only way to get Tractoring 15?

I have never ever in my life used a Holy Ward for training tractoring 15. So yes please. Earlier I suggested new tractoring 16 skill location with Exiled tractor as skill commod. That's available from Bipolar for 2.5b. So yeah, how about tractoring 15 for Exiled per level?

By the way tractoring 15 availability has been indirectly nerfed slowly as new AI have been introduced into the game. Forgones are not as common as they used to be.

It would probably be a better idea to scale Tractoring with the other core skills, like Weaponry.

As of right now, my standard for tractors is level 10 (Constable, which after subskills 10 makes for a solid non-dedicated tractor), but only one of my characters has level 16. The only reason it has TR16 is because the previous owner 7 years ago used it as his Engineer, and all competent Engineers had TR16, as the skill maxed at 16.

I cannot fathom to insane cost/effort to get more than one character to TR16+.

Oh cool, now we only have to kill 4,000 Forgones per HW instead of 5000. :P
