Post Time to go 64-Bit!
Dont you think its about time Star-Sonata was a Full 64-Bit Executable, instead of the old redudant 32-Bit mechanism?

No doubt the Client would out perform its predecessor in every aspect of performance with its modern wide-commands achieving double the executable throughput per clock cycle!

We could all be finally enjoying a performance that matched the architecture most of us are commonly using.

It would be about time the game performed like the machine's we are using could have it perform, it would be about time the game was as fancy as our graphics card for performance....

Isnt it about time Star-Sonata was an x-64.exe?!

I think so.

That really isn't how it works. While moving to 64-bit has important specific advantages none of them really apply to SS at the moment and performance would likely drop a small amount. If it makes you feel any better though, the server has been 64-bit for many years now.
