Different mysterious names could be used - Abnormal Space Vortex, Temporary Black Hole. Much like in Ultima Online or Albion Online. Put in some randomly spawned DGs that only last for, say 15 minutes. If you're lucky enough to stumble on it, you can get in. =) would be loads of fun. Make the content very specific too, like the use of very strong radars, galactic locator, spotty slaves, "pressure plate" to unlock next warp. Really fun stuff like that, also including stupidly op ai (like the new picks, omg i would love to see a gal with like 15 of them) Could also make it so you need an advanced blocker to even get in. Players woudnt know wtf to do, they try to get in and instantly die. Could also make the portals fly 1000 speed in a circular motion, or make them invisible to anything but a seer with lots of radar augs. |
