Don't think this will happen sadly; What could happen is only galaxies you've discovered appear in the market checker. That would then make Free Market and other similar sectors much more valuable to beginners or players who don't have Earthforce Layer mapped out as these sectors would be already present on the map.
Other ideas to alter the current system:
Make a taxation fee system where the more tax you pay the higher you appear on Market Checker lists.
Make the list order by quantity rather than pricing.
Make the list order by closest shops to your current position.
Could make the trade bay differences where one will do better at market checker abilities:
- Split the trade bay into better at selling or buying
- More often updates.
- Tricks the market checker to show you have more than you have.
- Multiple jumps away ability to trade or pre-order (sends a bot to give you the items)
