Suggesting for permanent drone slots, that they be account wide. Don't see why one would have to log on 5 different characters on same account to lay a system’s worth of high tech drones down. I wouldn't mind having base slots the same way. Altogether, this should improve capacity for players in situations where you have residuals on your character-specific slots. As an example, for StM, I often end up with 45/50 slots. The last 5 slots would only net a T12 kit, which is not usually worth the effort. Overall, would simplify the game down a bit, in a way that would benefit noobs just as much as old timers. Where noobs get access to larger amounts of base slots earlier, and old timers can max out their capacity and streamline their deployments. Implementation: Individual character permanent slot limitations are gone, only the account slots matter All accounts have max slots after a level progression on characters (100/500/1000 for max slots) At max slots an account/character can lay 150 slots for bases, and 270 slots for drones Research skills only improve station & drones quality of life stats a bit [e.g. 10% hull/lvl on stations] Actual drone/station skill just limits tech of assets deployable/transferable (a) Uni reset + 24 hrs, permanent drones are undeployable* (b) Beef all elec costs & size of permanent drones from t16 and downwards – should be at least closer to Andaman drone in size and elec requirements* or nerf DPS capabilities of lower tier drones that have next to no elec cost/size *PvP balance-wise this change may skew uni resets a bit, in situations where one character can already drop a butt-ton of low-tech drones. To deal with this, I think permanent drones should not be deployable early on, drone spam in reset is pretty unbalanced. Laying cheap, low elec, permanent drones with high dps throughput can probably hold an entire team hostage for a good while. A or B in isolation might do the trick to help balance uni reset. |

Hrm, well, guess stations is a bit much. Maybe just for drones would be fine. |

Seems interesting. We could also make Perma drones have a construction timer like bases. |

Drones would be pretty cool if there was indeed a ramp up timer. I don't think it would work with base slots because of trade skills as well as removing a part of progression in SS. |

I'd be down for all permanent asset slots to be account wide, but I realize that's going a bit too far at this time. |
