I'd say no. The point in not going to 20 was so that people could keep setups secret, and that still very much applies to any class using slaves that wants to keep their setup secret. There's no reason to go over power 19 imo.

I think scanners past 20 are fine, this whole thing about keeping setups hidden is nonsense. No other MMO hides players stats and items from one another, and in a game revolving around PvP (for territory control) it doesn't make sense that you can't figure out what your opponent is using and try to counter it. Knowing someone's setup doesn't mean anything if you don't know how to use it, you could give any new player Daedalus' Sniper setup and they wouldn't be able to do half of what he does.

There is a T22 scanner? It's from one of the subspace missions I believe. It'll decay if you finish the mission, but never finish the mission and you can keep the scanner.

That's a ship hull scanner, which tells you the resists of the ship in question. What people are asking for is an item scanner. |
