https://letsencrypt.org/
^free and easy

This goes for the main website, forums, wiki...

Would make the website look more trustworthy to newcomers imo.

This isn't needed, the ss login page already uses HTTPS using an SSL Certificate. However, the picture in the backround is not being pulled from the HTTPS protocol which is causing web browsers to claim it's not secure.

I don't care if it's not "needed" this type of thing makes websites seem less legitimate in 2017.

im not sure how you end up on the non https it should automatically switch to https when you go on it.... might be something wrong with the forced encryption on it. Shouldnt be long to fix

letsencrypt would be of no help tho, we already have https and certificates. it just need to be forced on for the important pages, billing related functions already are and login was supposed to be and will be again in a few minutes.

edit: and fixed. Everything billing or account related should be back under encrypted connection.
