I have no idea why these where pulled out and frankly do not care. They need to be put back in. And no, being purchasable is not an excuse, they where always purchasable if you simply bought items and scrapped them. No, space oats do not occur in every galaxy, nor are they a viable way to feed bases, i have tried it. No, you are no goting to survive in wild space without doing some substantial base building on EF layer, which WILL require a multi galaxy set up you will not be able to feed with space oats that arn't there. |

No because of an exploit that occurred early in the universe. Something like buy for 100m, sell back for 1b. It's been fixed for a while, but Jeff took it out because he personally considered them "cheating" since teams way back in Client 1 got along just fine without it, and attacked other teams for space oats like any other resource they needed to function. As long as they're available at reset, it doesn't matter if they are available now or not, since they have the decay on universe reset tag. No point in stockpiling 1000 JY hydroponics for reset when they'll all decay. |

except the issue with the oat hydroponics now is that it takes a day to activate now so you have to gear exe kits twice #annoying |

The Hydroponics were taken out of the base due to a potential issue, they'll be back in next universe and the universe after that provided there are no issues. |
