if you are on charter in the midwest ya might as well bend over and kiss your conection good bye. they are having problems again this year with the snow and ice getting in their lines and mucking things up. just talked to a tech from charter and he said my whole town was having problems and its pretty wide spread :(

Do a complete system restoration

that was the only wat i could get my computer to work after i had a similar incident

a word of caution though IT RESTORES YOUR COMPUTER TO FACTORY SETTINGS, ANYTHING YOU ADDED TO IT AFTER YOU BOUGHT WILL BE ERASED AND WOULD NEED TO BE REDOWNLOADED

My only option to give is to reformat it from the main start screen before it loads anything at all :/

idea for you. did you ever make a system restore point? you may be able to use that if the system ever did one. it will return all configurations back to that point.

otherwise you will have to prolly wipe it and reload windows. if you have a windows disk that came with your computer you can do it that way. and just reformat the drive when you install.

best i can offer as advice.
