Anyone got a spare? I've been dying to try that game out since the start of the beta but I still havent received a key. If anyone has a spare and wants to build some karma ( ) you can PM it to me and make my day!

Ewww, how do people want to play that game... When I saw that I immediately thought it was extremely gimmicky and doomed to failure.

It's essentially taking all those pokemon, yugioh, and MtG players, and sticking them online. I can see the appeal. First, you don't get fully random card booster packs. Those were a complete pain to deal with when trying to create a deck. Second, you bring all the players to the same place. It's really hard to get games going when the only official building for setting up games is in another fucking city, and even then, it was only twenty odd people. Blizzard has access to potentially millions of players, all of which now can come to one place for games instead of driving to people. I'm pretty sure they have a Warcraft 4 in the works, but this is a bigggggg industry they could tap too. And systematically beat out all the "top dogs" at the same time. |

Yes, I realize there are more Online Trading Card Games. I specifically included Magic the Gathering because I knew they also have an online version. The difference between Hearthstone and other games mainly boils down to this
- Hearthstone will be free - Hearthstone is not the sole focus of Blizzard - Blizzard has a far bigger existing playerbase than all of its competitors combined |

I would play MtG Online if I didn't need to pay hundreads of euros for being able to play deck and format I want to play. I already spent tons of money for cardboard in real life. I don't want to spend it again online.

first off, hearthstone is unfortunately beta keyed directly to your battle.net account
secondly, hearthstone while similar to other card games is in its own way completely different _________________ anilv wrote: Visorak wrote: I thought everyone was secretly a Trader operative? Absolutely no comment. |

(But I'll keep it just in case.) On that note - my WoW case actually makes for a convenient coaster, though it's also good for flattening my Battlefield 4 case apparently. _________________ Did you praise the sun today? |
