Hi,
Pleasee can someone confirm if slave stasis generators work 100% of the time or not? I was under the impression that they did work 100%? Anyway, i just lost a very good slave , Pax Celestica, fully euipped with Stasts Gen 12.......gone forever. And YES, the stasis gen was equipped!! Anyway im quitting, all my money, time and effort went into that slave, and others.....had i known that they were not 100% safe, i would have not given 100% of my time into equipping them. This game has been big fun, and i am honestly gutted this has happened. So long SS and my team, KMK, bunch of really good guys...... Signing out, 530iM P.S i just seen the poll option.... OK am i wrong to leave , or 100% right? |

Leave because of a slave? Doesn't sound like a very good reason in my opinion. Also, seeing people leave makes me sad and depressed. Please don't leave!!!

Leaving because multiple slave died no. Leaving when multiple slaves died because there was no warning of a major change in game, yes. Unless there was a in-game warning since last night(last login) or a bug.

Well, i equip diffusers to ships, and they clearly state the %failure chance, as do non-stable overloaders.
There is no such statement on a stasis generator for a slave. This would lead anyone to believe that if a slave was killed, it would go into stasis 100% of the time. Now if I had have known that it was not 100% safe, i would not have equipped any valuble equipment on the slave..period. Can anyone confirm if this is a bug, or whether the game is designed in this way? Thanks, 530iM |

Did your slave die more than once in a roll? Slaves drop hulls now, can they drop stasis gens? Who knows what the admins are doing these days

This is based on personal experience, but stasis generators equipped in a previous universe won't work in the next universe...unless you re-equip them.

Stasis generators, pods, and gear glue all have a very, very slim percentage chance of failure on them.

Quitting because of a small thing like this is not something I would do. Most people in here have lost WAY more than that.
If you cant handle losing some stuff I guess it's best to quit though cause Im sure you will lose more stuff. |

Take a breather 530iM and come back in a few days. My stasis gens has so far never failed (and my slaves cost in the billions). Another player has posted the same under bugs, about a stasis gen failing on his bulk trader.
So to the admins goes the question: Do stasis gens have a failure rate or is it some bug? _________________ This post was brought to you by: The original Junkie Your very own fire-breathing dragon! |

It could have been stasissed for ages, then dropped out of ownership and been capped/killed for its items.

Slave stasis gens are not supposed to have a failure rate. This must be a bug.
