On a cheerier note, any clue where the sniper missions start?

Adding the fire parasite was not supposed to be a nerf. The weapon does more total damage now, just not all up front. I can reverse the change by popular demand.

They start at the sniper base in Lyceum. They had to be added manually. Same seems to be up with the Mid Tech Freighters.

I love the idea of all fire weps have DoT but jijis are the only thing SD have to fight with emoray SDs atm :( . Even a slight damage drop means a lot in in SD damage tweak fight

Yay, Engineers have a use in attacks! No more pesky Monkeys running away from the DM because the DM can't pull them back.

They had the use bf as well but now what is stopping a mob attacking your gal to be pulled down one by one ? It is great for defense crappy as hell for attack

•Some ingredients in blueprints now have a special tag that means you
•don't Get any discount on those ingredient when building multiples

Would you be able to share which items/commods dont get refunded from multi-build returns anymore?
Or is there a method ingame to see?

WingShip2Pro Still doesn't have graphic included with the standard full download version of Star Sonata, The workaround before the patch was to connect to the test server and there was some minor update thing that must have included the graphic. I'm going to try that again but i'm asuming the dev's accidently missed this since they have all connected to the test server at one timer or another.

Edit

Oh and a special thanks from me to Aurora Ex Machina for using my suggestion for the one the new T16 frieghters. Now if I could only find where to get the Orca.<In a whiny voice> I want one. 8)

eewww...ye Yarra..some of us depend on the refunds on the more expensive builds just to stay competitative with the top end players.

The part about the Jiji/Rop thats just sad...many SD dont have an emp ray yet & those are the only thing coming close to keep competition with empray SD's.

They do have a graphic - you have to run the updater after the full installer (same goes for sprites that have been rotated 180o such as Hephaestus etc)

Orca - hidden easter egg atm, although obtainable; missions will go live on uni reset (as will UZ aftermath ones) given the linkages etc are a pain to do manually - sniper ones have the same $startvendor as $endvendor and are Easter Egg=X missions, so easy to add by hand.

The change to Heat weapons once again shows that there is not enough of a gap between the RoP a t14 weapon and the jiji a t20 weapon, even with the DoT added to the dps the RoP comes out on top with full tracking and longer range and tiny size, the worse dpe is just not enough of a handicap considering the jiji (a much harder to obtain higher tech weapon) is worse in every stat now other than being ethereal.

Post subject:  Re: Patch notes

Since the patch notes mentions the engine rebalance and improvements to FT radars, I thought i would share this here. These are the stats of some Fine Tuned items that I have, compared to the normal version...

Qua Vazuk / FT Qua Vazuk
Thrust: 5300 / 4900
Turning: 1340 / 1240
Vis: 29 / 29
Tech: 20 / 20
Weight: 167000 / 168000
Size: 37 / 25
Improves: n/a / Speed + 10%, Docking Speed + 50%

Grape Influence / FT Grape Influence
Thrust: 10000 / 11300
Turning: 2450 / 2790
Vis: 281 / 293
Tech: 19 / 19
Weight: 153000 / 252000
Size: 23 / 28
Improves: n/a / Speed + 10%, Docking Speed + 49%

Fission Thrust / FT Fission Thrust
Thrust: 16500 / 15200
Turning: 2270 / 2090
Vis: 529 / 512
Tech: 17 / 17
Weight: 253000 / 252000
Size: 75 / 56
Improves: n/a / Speed + 9%, Docking Speed + 47%

Axum Radar / FT Axum Radar
Vision: 2.71 / 2.85
Detection: 2500 / 3050
Elec Use: 10/s / 14/s
Vis: 101 / 126
Tech: 9 / 9
Weight: 9500 / 11000
Size: 19 / 22
Improves: Elec Regen + 10% / Tracking + 14%

Maybe i'm just misunderstanding the meaning behind "fine tuned", but I thought that we were spending the extra items and money to make these items better. So why is it that many of the stats of the Fine Tuned versions are actually worse? Especially, why does the FT axum have to lose the elec regen mod, the thing that makes it somewhat unique and worthwhile? I'm not saying that every stat on the FT versions needs to be better, but I just don't understand why any of them should be worse.

The extra speed, docking speed, and tracking mods are nice to have, but not at the sacrifice of other stats, especially when these same mods can be obtained through sleek, docktastic, and scoped modded gear. I know for a fact that if it were possible to get a scoped Axum radar, I would gladly use that over the FT version.
