Is it possible to give the space station menu background a live overlay of the layout of astral bodies in the same galaxy?

Hehe. Yeah, like you're looking out a window inside the space station. I like it.

Very nice if at all possible.

^^^ nice avatar :)

looks amazing jeff!

Things i'd really like to see would be color coding on different item types, especially when looking at base itemized view. Especially useful would be making most base gear (weps shield radar energy dims for starters) their own color. Shops are a nightmare to stare at when it gets late as it is and i find myself sometimes finding and sorting out base gear that got misplaced.

Rather than a layout, how about just having a tactical overlay of the entire galaxy? Like, a giant radar, essentially. That would be really fun, and useful to boot.

I like the tabs very simple and clear but the text is a bit hard to see due to the bright background and bright text in the description of the items, in the first screen-shot.

Also if it is possible to add comma's in the prices, that would be awsom  :e.g. 1,000,000

*In the future request* Could you make a button to "destroy/abandon" ship so people can just get rid of ships they can't fly(class locked) and can't sell please :?

Post Re: Adventures in programmer-skinning
I suggested a while ago that for C2 AI bases and Player bases use a different template for the general tab.

This would mean that while the AI base could retain the station concourse section, player bases could have more room to display the base description which my team and I find handy for posting stuff in (e.g. construction bases; people can note down what they are building and such).

Any comment by devs on this?

Yeh this should easily be possible, though maybe not a priority for alpha.

He wants a radar-map type thing when you're docked for the galaxy. :3

It may be a video on EVE Online, but it's pretty damn accurate on what a tactical overlay looks like. It has to be toggled, and it shows the distance from the center point. It's very useful for tactical and strategic commanders in a RL-type or EVE setting.
