As far as I know capships wont be any more expensive than other ships. They are just another ship type. For a tech 20 one there will be ones around the cost of an izer, and others like the DS, then like panther etc. For lower techs there will be porp equivelents and so on... However not having f2p have capital ships is a cool idea, more incentive to p2p

If I remember correctly the lowest tech capital ship will be tech 8.

I'm gonna save my class augs, in a few years noone will have any and they will be a multi-billion-credit collectable. Consider in an investment, lol.

Yeah, it is possible,but it's also possible for F2P to kill these ships.

That's how it is being F2P, you will have limited skill points.

66 really, since I'm pretty sure you need warp 1 to get piloting 8. But that's the point of F2P, you are limited in what you can get.

Could we by any chance get some base stats for the most basic cap ship, so people will stop making random comments about how they will only go 1-5 speed and have 10k hull.

Capital ships will be somewhat slow but not too bad....around 70 maybe. They wont have that much hull, if they did they would replace freighters.

That's pretty much what I thought. No one would bring a capital ship with on uber runs or any where if they were slower than a thatch being towed, no matter how strong they were.

The only F2P's who would ever consider getting a cap ship (wasting a bunch of skill points) would be ones owned by P2P's, or long time F2P's that have no intention of going P2P. And of course the few who already have the necessary skills.
