Are you going to send us the log or details? Logs are in c:\Documents and Settings\[User]\sschatclient\.metadata\.log

heh, it wont let me type anything in any of the channels. Ive restarted my comp and the client and nothing.

Perhaps Jon posted a bad build. Either way can you guys look for logs and send them to me. The location is in my last post.

Seems that if you run the first installer, and then the second one, it will create the bug i posted above

You would need to delete the folder from the first one. If anyone can give me logs I can also look into it but apparently my posts are not visible in this thread. If you guys aren't willing to beta test (ie give me feedback) then dont download the beta client .

Downloaded it at school and installed it on my flash drive and it works like a dream. But is it still connected to Test?

It looks great, I love what you've done with it and I like the "Chat" channel for chat client users. Only problem is that there is no one to talk to on Test. =/

The live version should be out tonight or tomorrow night, depending on my time. I have made it so that its much more solid when you move tabs around now, instead of just having a single active tab i check all visible tabs and such. Play around with that a bit and make sure it works too .

A few things I'm going to do by tomorrow:

- Make /me and /w work (i had /w but took it out cause it was replaced by clicking/new pm button/ ctrl-n but ppl are asking for it)
- Have a place to turn the swear filter off (just been lazy about this)
- Make it so when you scroll up in a window it wont scroll you down on refresh (unless you scroll back down to the bottom, in which case it will keep scrolling)
- Allow admins/mods to issue their commands from the client
- Ctrl-up ctrl-down to cycle through input channels

Things i may do if i have time:
- Add a remove channel button for pms

Future things:
- Smilies and such as images
- Reset to defaults in preferences
- Default font for all channels setting
- Flags/Notifications that will warn you on certain texts that you specify

Great work, Pip. One question, though: If your account has expired, will you still be able to use the chat client?

That is one feature we will have on it also. Expired P2P will be able to chat, which will hopefully convince them to come back and play. I forget if Jon has already done this or not, but its planned.

Heh, as you can see, I've been having a bit of fun. However, I've noticed that I can't make more boxes in the bottom like the little one. I can only place a box in that spot but not on any parts next to it.
