The term babysteps is something the SS admins need to learn. Also you have a test server let people try things out for a month or so on it before you implement stuff in the game. Beefing shields AND guns, one of the two would have been enough. The reduced range on pulseguns is good though.

you mean like you goz? if people do get killed that quick without a healer then thats fine...bases SHOULD be powerful.

Personally i think pulse guns were a little over the top....Achilles Pulse Gun is 4,000 dmg, .75 recoil. Those are *base stats*, not to mention all the aug/mastery/overloader bonuses, renders a pax all but useless.

Which is why its going to take more then 1 pax and more then 1 healer to kill a base.

IMO bases should be a fucking bitch to kill.

Thyme you dont understand. Put 2 achilles firing 1 achilles dmg 1 achilles elec on that base and any pax will die. The pulse gun with that setup would easily be doing 80k mining dps, likely more.. Meaning 120k+ dps to a pax.

In that case, Note to pax fliers: Dont annoy achillies bases, simple :p
Have to think about what to attack more carefully if bases are more powerful adds more to the game than: 1-2dps, 4+ healers... its a good move.

forget firing augs.. all dmg baby. try a iq kit with 6 anda dmg augs and achilles pulse

firing give more dps but ok
that would be 156k dps... 65k dmg a shot
