Goz... Demented Augs DO give 3-4 Stats on them. Have you ever seen the stats on any of them? They seriously kick ass.

Well.. looking at the augs on test, they follow no liner pattern, and don't match with my teamates... I guess that would add a LOT more variety, but at what cost?

If its messed up, don't mind that.

But if they normal augs and demented augs were beefed, along with the combos getting nerfed (and becoming repeatable) we would hit more of an equilibrium, with a lot more variation. If you want pure damage, use like a demented rage with a demented invig, and maybe a nerfed down sup combo for some space and other supporting stats. This would be almost a pure DPS ship that would pump out some insane numbers.

MFMs could focus on some room for those damps along with shields and some DPS to tank those ubers. With normal augs different, it'd be hard to find two ships the same, making each person unique (in a good or bad way)

I think I came up with a pretty reasonable solution to the overuse of Combo augs, go check out suggestions (thummps reply has nothing to do with mine)

Jeff, are the stats on the new "normal" augs as good as final or is it going to be nerfed allitle next uni?

Going to reduce the new stats before they go into the game, also probably nerf exc combo by about a tiny 5%.

PLEASE dont nerf exc combo..also an aug like zeus for example needs beefing, they just arent good enough.

I took a stroll out to deep deep south w3 on test today. I lost 12 GG20, was raped in Iq Bana by a Qokuji'qi with 3400 range, which is normally easily soloable, couldn't break Grim Reaver's Regen with a jiji, and got 2 shot by a mf pick. As speed demon I couldn't out run even half the ai, one bg in particular was far faster than me at full traced speed (440).

Tomorrow I try copper...

Yepp, the speed of the warp 3 AI is a little problem. Should be lower.

Lower all deep Warp 2/all of Warp 3 AI's Speed by 50%.

Should fix it somewhat.
