How about you allow players to cap the destroyed base?
That way they have to kill the base before they can cap the base.

I think the idea was to reduce the PvB losses, not increase the wins.

Space Marines (although I think they should be called SAS Commandos) should need food to survive. Because they are beefy and hard, they must eat oooh... at least twice the amount of "normal" workers...

In order to repair the base, you should ahve to equip the relavent tech base repair kit and place the commods on the base required to repair it... (500k metals, Glue, Elastoplast, blutack, spitwads, PVA, etc, whatever these damn bases are made of.. If they are laconia or dement bases then to repair them should take laconia sheets, or dementium etc.

No need for space marines, capping bases is allready hard enug.

sounds like a cool idea. one idea you said about capping bases, take base capping away for good, that shouldnt hapen, what if we need to cap a base to a alt?

I think a good idea would be the ability to equip the repair kit on the base *before* it dies and if it does die it gets repaired in a few minutes (Enough to allow it to be demolished)

I suggest adding transfer ownership to all bases.

Ways to prevent people from transferring bases over to change PvP range, verious timers. Once a base is attacked, begin a 2 hour timer from the last shot to the first possible transer. (may cause problems with AI attacks) Or consider a 6 hour timer with no string attatched, longer so a long base seige won't be interrupted by a timely transfer.

If your going to do this, make all bp's that were equipped go bye bye as well as cancel all construction upon repairing the damaged base. There should also be a very costly item the aggressors CAN use on the base to destory or make the base unrepairable, so that major defense bases, major construction bases, and colony bases etc can not be revived to further combat etc. It should cost no less than 1bil so it is not abused as well as be quite big (2k+ space?), same tech as the base itsself, heavy (possibly 2-3 dark lead heavy), and have very short distance (20-30). It would basically only be used on bases that the aggressers do not for any circumstance want to ever be revived.
