Get 2 REAL BTs there, not your good combi ones, and ill kite Guardian around for a few min with Hostile gear for you, build aggro, then bring him to the sun so you can waste him. Sound like a plan?

One thing wrong with that tactic is that the guardian takes quite a long time to kill, one would need to kite him for a long time to build up sufficient agro. The aura gen is also a big problem. That thing easily does more damage than his actual weapon, considering it affects monkeys and his laser can be diffused. One thing I'd like to suggest is making the mission to kill the guardian somewhat worth doing, since now it is very difficult...


One last thing I would like to mention. When I warped into Lyceum in my DS the other day, forgetting I still had agro, my 39,500k bank was one shotted. It was without Diffusers, but still, with the 65% laser resist on my DS.....That's a fair bit of damage.

1. I don't thin the standard armadas needed a 10% shield reduction.

2. I don't think they needed to have their elec regen reduced to 0

I think that they were balanced after the last changes / nerfs. I'm interested in understanding your motives for this current change?

I don't like change for changes sake and I just didn't see anything wrong with them... they aren't uber DPS powerful anymore, their mags dont do energy damage anymore, they cost loads of energy to deploy and NOW we are going to be forced to scoop them more often because they will die regenerating shields and firing... especially with drone opps and DM which increases the ROF, but CLEARLY can't increase the Elec regen anymore as a 500% increase on 0% is still 0%!

Shame I have been without the internet over the last week but I will test them and re-post my experience.

Sorry, it was a typo. The Armada Ambush drones have 0 regen and had their shield bank reduced. They received the energybank increase. They are also the drones which had the deployment energy cost reduced.

Armada Ambush drones with drone mastery 20 and station mastery 20 have a little more than 25k energybank now. It should give them about 5 seconds of firing time. Think of it this way. Per drone, you get 25k energy of damage for 9.5k deployment cost plus almost 15k shield bank. With all the damage bonuses the drones get, thats better energy efficiency that any other class. You just have to deploy them very often. I may even need to give them higher deployment cost again.

i suggest:
have electric regen (only enough for DM lvl 20/sm 20 to be enough to recover the shields

have the weapon use so much electric that the electric regen of the drone wouldnt even be sufficient enough for the weapon to shoot after that 5 seconds or so

something like this
energy bank=25000
weapon=5000 electric
electric regen=3
shield regen use=2

that way the shields would stay alive regardless
and it still wouldnt be broken
