the drone mastery skill has been treated unfairly in multiple ways imo, and I swear to god that every person that says otherwise will not be DM.

I played with the new Ambush Armadas last night.
Until the targeting code is properly fixed they are just too restricted in the way they can be used IMO.
They have JUST over 5 seconds firing... unless you lay them at precicely the right time they fire before they can hit the AI and then run out of elec.
Perhaps they should have 15 seconds OR 0 Vis whilst firing? Perhaps create a replica weapon for the drone specifically that has 0 or 5 vis when shooting...
This would seem more balanced IMO until the targeting code is fixed.

Making a drone CONSTANTLY 0 vis is just stupid. Nothing would see it, and you could fly around all day killing stuff without it ever seeing you.
Thats just a stupid idea.

how about allowing a certain number of drones be deployed in there?

 hmm seems to me...since toxic are such "stupid ass noobs"...and we kill the same UZ bosses pants,jawss and many others do....your all "stupid ass noobs" HURRAH FOR STUPAHD ASSED NUBBEHNES! we so totaly own...dont we BD and bizman? killen them UZ thingys...
anyhow making the wep take that much energy will make it totaly useless on ships...and unusable for players..so that sorta throws that idea out of the window..and if you ask who would use it? well...hell id like to play with a Rhino mag some day  but i have to agree with them...add just enough regen that it cannot fire and can regen sheilds or at the very least maintain them. a drone loosing sheilds could be very bad...what if the DM dies and its drones simply waste away to nothing and pop because of an aura? or a player runs over the top with a damage dealing scoop?
if that isnt changed i see an easy way to make armada ambush totaly unwise choice of drones in pvp.and even if it was one or five drones allowed in there...its still enough to keep his attention away from people so its still not solving the problem. btw we love you phil even if you get cranky without your cup of coffey/pointless unintellegent insults in the morning. cheers mate seeya wend

with the armada ambush drones... perhaps admins could make it the type of drone where it can be laid on top of other ambushes.... I know other drones are able to do this and some aren't. I'd imagine, if u could quickly spam a hotkey w/o having to move and dodge ur other drones out, it would make using ambush drones a lot easier.

Sorry guys but Micron won't be done on the reset itself. I'll give you an update though.
Of the three sections, two are finished. All the missions are completed for all of micron, and all the gear corresponding to the race missions. I'd say about 85 to 90% complete now. I'll keep working on it, and Caelestis is helping with the course creation.

Would be cool to have alook around and see the gear etc.
