no, my laser tracks onto "nothing" and I seem to hit emptyt space that has a health bar over it

Tractoring an AI will put the ship where it is supposed to be on the client.

yeah my entire team gets that message only seems to be in protected galaxys though. a higher lvl player in all chat mentioned to one of my team mates that its because the team is protecting the ai so they can trade safely but i never had that problem in the previous server the ai just had to attack first.

ok for the peeps that say there is lag get a better computer or internet and if you use dial up well your asking for lag this server has little to 0 lag, but the stars are something we need to get use to

Your an idiot. Some people (Specially europeans) will see more INTERNET lag on the new server, due to the fact that its physically further away. The real question (for europeants) is if the reduced SERVER lag will make up for teh increase in INTERNET lag.

I live in Europe... I can no longer play, so I voted Worse, it's annoying that I can't play something I pay 3 subscriptions for :S

It works worse for me actually but still playable. I get small lagspikes pretty much all the time.

I'm getting no lag, then again I'm basically sitting ontop of the kattare server spanking it... go me

What makes it so you can't play?

Basically, I load up SS Login Screen, it takes almost 5 minutes for the Character Screen to fully show up even after it says it's connected, I then choose my character and then a few minutes later I'm "connected" all I can see is planets and suns... Then either one of two things happen:
A): I wait 5 minutes for all the graphics to load up and then I can play for roughly 30 seconds before a HUGE Lag Spike and Disconnect
B): The Client Closes itself after a few minutes of waiting for graphics to load...
This is highly annoying and no before anyone asks... I don't try and load all 3 of my accounts at once because that would be plain stupid... I can play 30 seconds of SS every 15mins IF I'm Lucky...
And No, I'm not going to move to America to be able to play SS.
Also I was playing on Liquid earlier and everything was almost perfect, pretty much Lag free, Atleast playable in the 2 galaxies that actually exist on there =[
