On another thread, Voomy posted an incomplete list of the trade skill level locks. There is nothing magical about level 1k and CA/EE/etc level 20. The complete list is:

Trade Lvl : Char Lvl
1 : 5
2 : 10
3 : 15
4 : 20
5 : 30
6 : 40
7 : 50
8 : 75
9 : 100
10: 150
11: 200
12: 250
13: 300
14: 400
15: 500
16: 600
17: 700
18: 800
19: 900
20:1000
21:1200
22:1400
23:1600
24:1800
25:2000
26:2200
27:2400
28:2600
29:2800
30:3000

Level 500 currently get you tech 15 in the trade skills. For now, I will bump up the power of all trade skills by 33%, so a level 500 base alt will be just as powerful under the new system as currently, and level 500+'s will be much more powerful. After one uni, we can reevaluate the powers of CA, EE, SM, and MFM.

The only reason my base alts aren't higher level is because it takes to long and costs too much to level them higher. But that's just me....There are indeed those out there who still attempt to 'circumvent' if you like, PvP.

Dude, with CA 20 you can make just about anything hospitable. With that, there will be even more colonies available to make cash off of.
