I'm sorry everyone, but I messed up on the configuration of the temporary universe and it wasn't saving all that time, so we just had a large rollback.

The problem is now sorted out.

I don't know what to say about all the recent problems, other than there are a bunch of new database fields, 3 months worth of new code, a new SVN repository with all the old files switched out for new ones, and I am seriously sleep deprived. This is definitely the worse new universe we've ever had, and I'm very sorry for that, but I promise I'm trying my best to make sure everything get fixed.

Heck at least you can admit you made a mistake, if people have a problem with this then they can bugger off. Oh well back to finding Acropolis which isn't in W0

And at least it is only a temp uni, so if we could ever afford a rollback like this it's now.

Mistakes are made by everyone, it's good that you admit it. If I were in your shoes, which I'm glad I'm not, I'd run down the server over the weekend and get a good nights sleep.

I don't think many people would oppose to trading a few days of game time to have a server and universe which is completely ready.

Like with anything, take your time and don't stress out.

Mistakes happen, there's a lot of data you'r working with and I don't think most of the players realise how much work you do. Just admitting to doing a mistake takes muy grande cojones with part of this lot being quite aggressive ^^

Well at least no one has messed up skills anymore, since it looks like my modified loading code that I did yesterday fixed the problem that was occurring for some people when they got their skill reset.

gave me back that extra aug reset on one of my chars. means that if the aug setup truely is bad then at least i didnt go from a good one to a bad one

Mistake my ring. Dont bullshit a bullshitter, you guys amazingly managed to chang an enormous amount of stuff in the game during this errornous time period, plus you were OBVIOUSLY taken aback by the way people were making money off gammas so you DELIBERATELY reset everyone back.
