There is some new stuff on the test server:
- Minor modifications to a lot of AI (please let me or another admin know if you notice anything strange or out of place) - Damage over time from parasites should no longer anger the police - Combat Slaves should obey their master's safety lock in protected galaxies - Mining Slaves should (hopefully) no longer have a chance of losing their dumping station after a rollback - Separate galaxy limits for temporary and permanent drones. - Error messages fixed for transferring a base. Courtesy of SAL - Projectiles should no longer be absorbed by an invisible object far away from the center of a galaxy. - Engineer energy transference beams should now use energy And probably a few things that I left out. Upcoming changes that you can expect to see on the test server in the near future include: Destroyed bases (HAL) - Players will have several days to retrieve items from a base that has been destroyed, and may have the chance to repair it - at a cost. Abandoned bases (HAL) - Bases that have been on a ration strike for several days will revolt, and they will swear allegiance to the next player to dock with a ration supply. Missiles (JonC) - Blow stuff up real good. Aug Tweaking (SAL) - The formula for negative aug tweaking has been changed, and will be symmetrical for positive and negative values. |

So far I've tested the new tractor beams...my main acc. is expired on test so had to use my alt, which isn't well equipped. They use elec, which is good. Some of it might be easier to test given a mirror of the current uni (the stuff relating to bases and mining slaves).

Well, I was just playing around, and I unequipped my Slave Stasis Gen 17 on my Senelogica, and when i went to re-equip it, it said "Must be equipped on ship tech minimum of 17"

Yes its a bug that I caught shortly after the new test server went up, and yes it should be fixed on the next version of the test server. I assume that you are talking about the test server, and that this bug hasn't gone live yet?

how about bases that are just dropped by f2p's that are not being used but taking up slots on usable planets
these base's are not being killed by ai's or in effect have any workers in them to go on strike but are a pain in the butt to paying ss users best thing is to make ai aggro to them they are to my suit raisers so why not to these ? |
