Post People with the disconnect problem
Can people who are getting the very frequent disconnect problem please post their general geographic area? Someone told me that is was all people from the tri state area, and if this is true, then that would be very important information. Also, if using Cable Internet, could the same people please post the model of the cable modem you are using. Thanks.

I am from Estonia, Tallinn. Quite often get disconnected. Maybe because of physical distance. Do not know the exact info about cable connection.

I get the problem. Newark, NJ. I use cable and the SURFboard model is SBV5120.

For people who don't know where to get the model number it's in a sticker under your modem.

I've reconfigured the test server to send no packets greater than 1000 bytes, whereas before it was maxing out at 1400 bytes. Maybe that will fix the problem?

Sweet, your not far from me! :P

I have gotten disconnected a few times from SS, but nothing substantial enough and frequent enough to be a pain.

I do NOT have disconnect problems from south-west New Jersey on a Verizon ADSL line with a Westell Wirespeed modem.

Edit: Added more information as it may be of potential usefulness in comparing those not receiving disconnects with those having them.

termites have nothing to do with the disconection problem because if it did it would not just affect us in newyork with disconnection problems this is somthing to do with the combined packet update and cable internet service.
