So if we have say a neuro bound sheild equipped and decide to fight speedy and he kills you, does the sheild get destroyed because he uses radiation

I think they are responding to my post on trying to find a way to keep the emp rewards from being farmed by pants, JAWSS, epic or whoever in third, but thats just me. I really have no idea about this stuff as I'm just starting to get to the lowest mid game region.

Don't equip it, put it on a storage ship, or sell it to an AI base if you really don't want it.

The only way the item can be destroyed is if you let it be destroyed. In any circumstance where a NB item gets destroyed, it would have been captured by another player instead. If its a mission item, you probably won't be able to replace it, if it was built from a BP you will be.

No, once a NB item leaves a base (if it was ever on one) it can't be transferred back to one.

so like I can move impy seals between my ships, but I wont be allowed to toss it?


kinda cool, but cant this time be spent on micron seeing as Atlum as pretty much left?

I think engines 20 and content of the such would be better, like you did with the emp runs, that is amazing work

HAL is busy programming new features, Micron is up to the people doing content to finish. That would be Cael and JackFrost.

It's a nice feature to have. We want imp seals for example to be a reward to a specific player. We dont want that player to give it away or sell it. He's supposed to keep it and use it to train the skills.
As HAL said this wont be used on any old items (atleast not many of them), it's a feature we admins want. If there are any special plans to use it on any special item I dont know.

Problem with imp seals as a reward is that the reward is universal. Bigger bugs should have bigger rewards, and vice versa. Imp seals aren't hard to get, and face it, a lot of players wont even use it because the SP cost is huge unless your an endgame player.

yeah, leveling can get a mite tricky past icepicks (but still very doable)

Retard idea. I dont need Imp Seals skills on my 4 Support Chars. I got one fucking fighter char and i want him to have all the seals skills maxed.

In many situtations 3 bil for the UnClean Imp Seal will make one noob way more happy than some lame 2% tractor range doh...

How exactly does having items which can't be sold promote selling of credits?

If anything I would think that it does exactly the opposite - people actually have to play the game and advance their character, rather than being able to just buy 100b and be able to buy an entire ship setup with zero effort involved.

That being said, chances are most items currently existing in game will be left as is anyways, so you will still be able to buy your uber setup.

Also with the new dungeon lockout system and lowered spawn times, everyone can complete content eventually. It may take you months or even years to build your team from scratch into a group of uber players, but with a little bit of coordination and dedication, you can do it.

Some UZ bosses (and possibly mini bosses, not sure tho) can drop unclean imp seals, and usually a Shield monkey scoops the loot, as they have a lot of hull, shields, GG, etc. So, now that shield monkey has to be the one to use the unclean imp seal or sell it to an ai base?
