Those models I posted don't have any lighting applied to them. In the game, they will be lit by the sun and by other ambient lights.

They are all around 600-1000 polys. We are targeting the same system specs as the current client, so we're not going much higher than this, except for capital ships and space bases. People with better systems will be able to turn on things like bump mapping and environment mapping, though.

A friend of my dads says he is gonna give me his power Laptop when he gets an Apple, but not anytime soon.

I thank you very much for making a sane decision and not cutting out the rest of your playerbase with shit ass Comps.

Also, could you make sure everything can be switched on/off?

I hate games that try and force Pixel Shader, and OpenGL 2.0 and stuff, if it wasnt for that i could play em.
