Next patch, the base owner's skill level is the determining factor for eqiupping items to a base (and not the equipping player's skill level as it was before). Of course, this only effects players that have permission to equip items to a given base.
Items that require these skills with still be checked against the equipping player (and not the base owner's skills): Station Mastery Extraction Expert Colonial Administrator Merchant Fleet Master Mzungu Lore Bule Mythology Vazaha Culture Faranji Research _________________ JonC :: Star Sonata Dev Star Sonata » YouTube Channel :: Twitter Feed :: Bug Database :: Wiki For support, please create a support ticket here. |

This is a bad idea.. What about retardis extensions? Can't use em on non mastery bases now :\
Does this apply to everything, or just core gear? Can I have a trl bp installed without having the base owned by a Seer? |

Epic, epic fail. How are people supposed to build things like TRLs and Massif IIIs on the team's main construction base now?

large extensions ALL require STM....what the fuck about EE bases? where you need TONS of space?
i suggest you make extensions of all types (except those mzu skill ones) able to be used by anyone instead of require stm. _________________ |

If I understand everything correctly the only benefit such a change might have is that it would allow people who do not have the right skills to equip base gear on bases. So if your annihilator base ran out of rations, someone without StM 20 would be able to equip anni gear back.
But this would come at the cost of losing the ability of using class restrictive items on bases (which is a great tactical disadvantage). In addition to all the problems mentioned above, could you make it so that Kikale Mzungu Extractors are not affected by this change? Otherwise my extraction expert alt would suddenly have to get Mzungu Lore (thank god I haven't selected a ruin skill yet). _________________ Quote: When the pimp's in the crib mah

This is bad mainly just for the main production base not being able to build everything.
But grats on screwing over the f2ps, 2 thumbs up on that count. _________________ Meep |

No, I think I got it right. If the owner of the base has 20 in core skills and StM 20, then everyone on the team would be able to put up anni gear, since the owner's skills permit it. _________________ Quote: When the pimp's in the crib mah

how about for base sheilds, weapons, energies etc, make it apply to base gear only
and not bp's or extensions fair? _________________ 2nd place is just another way to say 1st loser. |

C'mon, this is kind of lame. What about bp's and stuff? considering there is a literal monopoly in StM commods, not everyone can get stm17-20. Implement another way to get Stmanagement before putting this crap in.
