Right next to Client 2.

Great work on this. Will the slave names stick around if you deactivate and reactivate them?

When I say in the next patch that means I have commited the code and it's ready to go. Test has the code now but you would need a new client to see it.

Yes the names will stay with the ships forever (unless you change it).

That was more of a hope for Client 2 than anything else. And I would never doubt your awesomeness. Not since I will have little pips following me around and their guns are just as big as my guns and there are more of them.

So if I call something like BobbyBobbert, and Bobby dies, can I rename him to Sally?

Swingarm, take notes, cuz Bobby may go missing.

But seriously, once its named, we cant rename it?

Bobby isn't even in my top 1 million of choices for slave names but "BlackDragon is the shiznit" is in my top 50.

Terribly sorry for bumping this rather old thread, but here goes:

What is the status of "aliasing active slave" -feature?

I would like to be able to give alias to active slave through "x" -menu.

Dock your slave.
Then click ships tab in the base double click on the slave name.

You then give it an alias and equip the control bot to make it a slave again.
