You have still taken a huge amount of customization out of the game. Ships will be valued purely by their aug slots and not by their inbuilt stats.

So, I have to ask. Free Aug resets? Free Aug resets for fleet commanders?

There is no doubt that there will be aug resets for everyone after this, or even a possible full aug reset on all ships across the board, so you can decide exactly how to aug them (or just re-equip them if you want to keep the augs)

This sounds reasonable since slave masters would suffer the most.

Just a full aug reset i dont like very much, Give 5 or so aug resets via the mission for lvl 21 + or something.

Although that would screw over FC, Maybe Both.

I never understood the logic behind not allowing you to remove billions in augmenters from a ship more than a few times. Once you're out of resets, you have to work for what you have already achieved. The reason you do is simply because you can't remove your expensive augmenters from the ship.

Who gives a fuck if people want to sell their augmenters, it is their property to sell! Not allowing them to remove them is the stupidest method to prevent them of doing so I have ever seen really. If they are so permanent, why have augmenter resets at all? Because people screw up, it is human nature. How does that human trait go away with higher levels?

Just give a damn full reset so everyone can rebalance their ships easily without all this "Who gets how many resets" bull. All ship augmenter setups will now be outdated, which means that not allowing some to be unequipped will mean that people without any resets left will be stuck out in the cold without a majority of their usual ships at their disposal.

And with an extra augmenter slot on a number of ships, an augmenter reset will not make prices go down, the demand will go UP, and prices will follow.

Post Re: Semi-weekly update 11-10-08
And sorry about the harsh post, I'm just tired of people complaining that Augmenter Prices are bad because of Resets... Nooooo, it is that there are too many of the rare ones dropping. Rare is a word in the English language that means "extremely uncommon;" so why have I gotten 3 god augs this month?

The logic behind not giving more resets is flawed, and the people arguing against adding more should step back, and take a look at the garbage they are writing on the page.

Nice, but the game still relies too much on aug setups.

Personally i think ships need to be made more unique like you did with the AI base ships.

I hope you're not speaking about how you got 1 x Aphrodite and 2 x Apollo augs in a whole month ;-)

No. As specified below stuff like Zeus and Hera are god augs. Calypso was simply an emperor, it was his reward for becoming one. Even if he actually got 3 rewards for 2 runs...

Calypso Charger, Calypso Aug, Emperor's Behemoth.

I do suggest you do that carefully, because the number of aug slots is the most powerful determining factor on the power of the ship, tech being the next powerful factor.
