Liberty < Kattare < Liquid to me -.-

I have played on Liberty for a bit now and quite frankly it disgusts me. The changes implemented are very good and nicely executed but the server itself is problematic to myself and the others in my household who play on my internet(6 in total).

What happens on the server is similar to what happened on the old kattare server before Jey introduced his "fix" in that i would get massive lag on jumps and receive frequent "net lag kicks". Jey's fix completely and utterly erased these problems and made SS not only playable but enjoyable.

With the advent of our new server "Liberty" the problems have returned and, hard as it may be, worsened. SS is completely unplayable to the extent that me, my household and even my team (eventually) may suffer. Is there any way to fix this?

I now did a continues ping for quite some time - and yes the simplest is to make: "ping -t liberty.starsonata.com" - but you must be "root" aka Admin to do that (as standad under XP).

Funnily I did not find any correlation between ping and occasional lag but I get every once and then - and there seems to be no scheme for it a timed out ping packet.
This didn't happen on katare.
my ping time averaged out is 105ms , 0.3% packet loss, min 102 max 164, usually 102 to 108 ms (25k packets measured). (on old one 190 - 210, no packet loss)

note: the server maybe down, but my ping time is still the same

the tunnel that i did download was only an exe and no matter where i stuck it it failed to work. :/ a bit of help would be awesome lol.

inside the zip, there is an exe yes, (else how is it supposed to set a tunnel if its not an executable . If it doesnt work, please pm me with the error message so i can fix it. I tested it here and its working, but thats all.

ahh so Jey, so that tunnel will help with vista?my vista also has problems with SS.. its terrible.. framerate is horrible
so i use my non-christmas present computer instead

fps problems arent connection/server related. so the tunnel wont change a thing for those. On vista, i heard that changing the compatibility mode can help also starting it as administrator. But other than that, there isnt much i can do to help.

I am getting very bad lag spikes like every 5-10mins ....
its awesome in UZ ... lag spike starts ... my slaves all go crazy and of course trigger GSA.
I cant go there anymore cause of the frequent spikes.
When I ask in all chat if other players get the same problem... many dont seem to have it but some do have it too.
Do I get those lags cause I am euro ? I had those lags on the old server, too but way way less in number.

Also "floating" slaves seem to have become more common....
