Looks like it will take a hellishly long time to get from Sol to deep warp 3.

I would say 4-5 jumps with w4. Probably 20ish without it, which is what it is now.

since there is so many gals how will danger fact's work? what is the DF for buildable are and such?

Danger factor will work the same as before, regular jumps from sol. DF for buidable areas im not sure about, just know that most of layer 3 is buildable/ownable.

So we can build up to DF 140?and the lowest is just "Build able space"?

Where will the rare commods start DF 70+ again

With East and West marked as i have it, Will we be able to build ALL THE way to the point on the very end of each side?

Im rather Confused..

PS, Will the RED gals be build able, What does the RED mean?

I deleted the picture cause it takes up too much room, if you want, link it with a thumbnail.

As I said before (you apparently didnt read it) this was submitted by Grunt as an illustration to go with the explanation, and not completely accurate or the taken from a generated universe. Each galaxy pic on there is just an illustration, not meaningful. Once we have generated a full uni on test you'll be able to go on there an play around so you can see for yourself.

Pretty sure the red is the earthforce/nexus gals, just there to keep the two arms apart.

Looking at test, i hope the new stats on the abs is a joke...27x5 damage, 317 elec/shot...Yeah. Doubling the elec/sec, brilliant idea, admins. AND lowering the dpe to boot, while nerfing most energybanks....you seem to not want it to ever be used, dont you? Dont you remember? its supposed to be a damage control weapon, additional damage only hurts it...

Im more concerned with the excom doing more dps than the zebra spitter when you have mining control.

I am more excited about the new universe now that its so much bigger i dont feel that it will be as tough to find a galaxy or two away from the top teams who will want to claim every gal surrounding the HQs.

Just to clarify, the red area on the Wild Space layer is supposed to represent warp 2 galaxies.
As Pip said, its really just an illustration I quickly put together to show people the actual structure/shape of the universe, because some people were confused.
Don't take the images on each layer for anything more than just an aesthetic feature.

whenever i keep trying to download the test client i go to save then i saved it under programfiles/starsonata but then when it finishes the download i go to program files then starsonata then i opened the test client but a windows error popped up saying the test client is not a valid win32 application....when i downloaded it i replaced my old StarSonata_TestClient (2). I tried to make it StarSonata_TestClient (without the 2) but it says im not the administrator?

so then i downloaded test client in a seperate user folder and moved the test client to the starsonata file but when i started it, an error pops up saying app failed to start because RakNet.Dll was no found. reinstalling the app may fix this problem. this has happened like 5 times too

Hey, could you guys update test more often, maybe daily or something? Would make sense since it is so important now. I just went FC, but have no idea how my slaves and I look post-nerf because I am still a gunner on test.

With the new uni shape will there be a way to view layers you have explored on your uni map without actually being in that layer? It would be helpful for purposes of AP and giving directions.
